Yesterday the New York Times Style Section featured an analysis of the photographer Annie Leibovitz's financial troubles (she borrowed $24 million against her property and archive and now has to pony up).
The story jumped from the cover to page 9, and in the process sandwiched a Louis Vuitton ad featuring... an Annie Leibovitz portrait. The LV campaign, which was mentioned in the article, subsequently transformed into a wry companion piece emphasizing the point that Leibovitz's debt clearly isn't due to a lack of commercial clients.
